Frequently asked questions
Our estate only allows noisy work at set hours. Can you still do an emergency repair?
Yes. Only the test run is loud; fault-finding is quiet, and the run stays inside the estate’s hours. We work 24/7.
Our solar inverter keeps disconnecting from the generator. Is the generator faulty?
Usually, yes. An inverter drops any supply whose frequency or voltage drifts, so suspect a hunting governor, a drifting AVR or a set too small for the charging load.
Our complex’s gate generator ran dry and will not start after refuelling. Why?
A dry tank lets air into the fuel system, which most diesels need bled out, and sediment from the tank bottom often blocks the filter. Book the repair rather than cranking the battery flat.
