Who do you take instructions from for our complex’s gate generator?
Whoever the trustees name, usually the managing agent or an estate manager. The quotation, the go-ahead and the report all go to that person.
The lights flicker when our consulting rooms run on the generator. Is the equipment at risk?
It can be: flicker means the voltage or frequency is wandering, which fridges, sterilisers and anything with a power supply dislike. Usually the AVR, governor or air in the fuel; see voltage problems.
