Can you service our Kya Sand set without stopping the line?
Yes. Everything up to the loaded run is done with the factory on mains; the run and transfer test are the only minutes production notices, so they go between shifts or on a Saturday morning.
Our complex’s set only runs the gate and guardhouse. Why include a loaded run?
Because a diesel idling under a few lights never reaches working temperature and wet-stacks, wetting the exhaust and injectors with unburnt fuel. A run under proper load burns it off; see wet stacking.
We keep diesel in containers at the warehouse. Does that change the service?
It adds a step: fuel decanted from containers picks up condensation and dirt, so each visit samples the containers and the tank, drains the water and changes the fuel filter sooner.
How often should the set at our Olivedale consulting rooms be serviced?
Yearly at least, sooner if the hour meter passes the manual’s interval, with a loaded run that logs voltage and frequency: medical fridges and equipment tolerate less drift than a house does.
